I have been crafting in some form or another for 50 plus years. I was hooked by age 13, when my stepmother started
teaching me crochet and knitting. I have
crafted in many, many different mediums, and could not begin to try to select a favorite. I have hundreds of crafting books dating back to
the 50’s and 60’s, and continue to add to my collection on a weekly, if not
monthly basis. Some of my ideas come from
these books, some come from my mind (scary isn’t it?).
Anyway I love to craft and come from a family of six girls who all craft in
some form or other. My eldest sister was a
master potter, and her work has sold all over the state.
My other sisters have their own specific crafting skills and talents.My son
is a wonderful artist and his creativity is endless. My
ex husband is a very good silversmith, so I guess it runs in the family.
I am happiest when I am crafting, and the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction that
I get when someone appreciates and wants to buy my “stuff” can not be described. I am always open to sharing ideas and information, so don't be
